40 years on, the social model of disability still provides a valuable framework for understanding and locating difficulties experienced by in individuals within the environment that fails to effectively meet their needs. To mark this anniversary, we’ll be exploring the continuing relvance for the social model and it’s potential to support real world change for autistic individuals, particularly in their access to education.
